Why this business exists

I'm a QBCC-licensed roofer working across Brisbane and South East Queensland. Over the years I've been called out to too many homes after storms — not to fix the damage, but to give an opinion on a claim that had already been knocked back.

The pattern was almost always the same. The roof had real damage. The homeowner had paid premiums for years. And the insurer had pointed at one thing: insufficient evidence of maintenance. With no records, there was nowhere for them to go.

What we actually do

Roof Guard Queensland is a subscription. You pay a set amount each month. We attend on a schedule, inspect the roof properly, carry out the maintenance included in your plan, and produce a signed, timestamped report every single visit. Those reports go into a permanent record we hold for you.

We don't promise insurance outcomes — no roofer can. What we promise is narrower and we can actually deliver it: professional QBCC-licensed work, documented to a standard that stands up, every time.

The standard

Three things we do not compromise on, and you should hold us to all three.

Quality of work. Every inspection meets the same QBCC-licensed standard, whether it is the first visit or the fortieth, and whether or not anyone is home to watch.

Quality of documentation. Every report is signed, timestamped and built to the same format. A report that is inconsistent is a report that is worth less when you need it.

Quality of communication. Direct, honest and on time. If we find something expensive you hear it that day. If we are running late you hear that too.

What we don't do

We do not do roof restoration or replacement, internal water damage, solar servicing, or 24-hour emergency call-outs. We do not promise claim outcomes. And we do not sell anyone a higher tier than their roof needs — the recommender on the home page will tell you Essential if Essential is the answer.

Where we work

Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, Redlands and Moreton Bay. Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast and Toowoomba in phase two. We would rather cover a tight area properly than a wide one badly — if you are outside it, tell us and we will say so honestly rather than stretching to reach you.

We're taking on our first homeowners now. Early clients deal with me directly, and the service gets shaped by what they tell us. The pricing is the pricing — it is the same for the first client and the hundredth, and it is published so you can see it before you speak to anyone.
